An Edinburgh Engagement Session | Scotland Wedding Photographer
Have you ever been to Edinburgh, Scotland? Imagine a city bursting with history, culture, and the kind of charm you rarely find in a place so big, and youβll have only scratched the surface of Scotlandβs capital. Itβs a dream destination for anyone, but especially for a photographer. And for a couple looking to elope or take stunning, unique portraits!
Edinburgh Engagement Photos
Iβve visited Scotland a grand total of 9 times. Often when I tell people that, their response is, βwhy?β. Why do I return to Scotland again and again and again? The landscape is absolutely otherworldly. The rugged mountains of the highlands, the blue waters of the coast, the rolling hills of the countrysideβitβs all a dream to behold. The small villages are quaint and welcoming. And the cities! Teeming with beautiful, old architecture and lovely little vignettes around every corner. Scotland is another home to me and I 100% recommend it as an elopement destination for any couples looking for a spectacular place to tie the knot.
Edinburgh specifically has it all; hidden closes and lanes that can make you feel as if youβre in a village hundreds of years in the past, a cornucopia of great food and delicious coffee and good vibes, and lovely instances of nature to ground you. In all the times Iβve been to Edinburgh, it continues to surprise me and offer up beautiful, hidden gems. Which is why I was so excited to photograph this darling couple in a few of my favorite nooks and crannies in the city.
As a Scotland elopement photographer, it was a joy to curate these locations specifically for this portrait session. I love finding spots that are slightly less mainstream and arenβt overrun with other photographers. If youβre looking for an Edinburgh photographer, hit me up! Iβm always down for an adventure to Scotland.
