Crested Butte may just be the perfect place to elope in Colorado. That’s a pretty strong statement, I know. Especially considering the seemingly endless wonders this state has to offer. But if you’ve ever been to Crested Butte, you have an idea of how magical of a destination it really is.

Check out this Crested Butte elopement. I met up with A + M dark and early for a drive up to Emerald Lake where these two decided to say their vows and exchange rings among the sunflowers, the lake in the background. We then wandered to our hearts’ content and A + M had their first dance as the mountains became aglow with sunrise. It was such a special morning to witness and document and I’m so grateful I could be a part of this day.
