How long have you been a photographer?

I’ve been behind the camera, photographing people, for more than a decade. For the past eight years, I’ve specialized in weddings and elopements, with more than 100 weddings in total under my belt.

Will you help us decide on a location for our elopement or shoot?

You better believe I’d love to help you find the perfect location for your shoot. It’s one of my specialties. I have a long list of tried and true locations and I’m always up for finding something new that’s unique to you and yours. Once you book, you’ll have access to all my favourite spots; urban, mountainous, rural, or even indoor.

Where are you located? Will you travel to us?

I’m based out of Denver, Colorado but I am always up for traveling. I’ve photographed weddings and sessions all over the United States: from New England to Chicago, every corner of Colorado to the beaches of southern California. The UK and Ireland have also been a favourite place of mine to photograph and I will always make that trip if you’re looking to go abroad.

Do you photograph LGBTQIA+ couples?

Absolutely! Inclusivity is incredibly important to me. No matter your gender, orientation, skin color, body size, religion, etc., love is love. I wholeheartedly believe that. All are welcome in front of my lens.

Do you have recommendations for other wedding vendors?

Absolutely! I’m always willing to recommend my favorite florists, caterers, videographers and beyond. Just ask away.

Can I give you a big shot list of every single photo I want on my wedding day?

I absolutely understand where you’re coming from with this question but, here’s the thing! If I have to be looking at a list in my hand and checking it out, I’ll miss the real moments as they happen. I can’t do my job to the fullest of my ability if my eyes are glued to a shot list. And you can’t experience your day to the fullest if we’re constantly stopping things as they truthfully unfold. I do take “formal family portraits” during the day, in which case I do like to have a list of groupings on hand. But otherwise, I’ve learned from experience that I can truly document the story of your love more authentically, and you can enjoy your day more, when there’s less focus on a shot list and more focus on the real moments.

What gear do you have in your bag?

I shoot with two Canon R6s. The lenses I always have in my bag are my Canon 35mm 1.8, Canon 50mm 1.2, and Canon 85mm 1.2.

Are you insured?

Absolutely!

Do we need a second shooter for our wedding?

That’s totally up to you! How large is your guest list? Is it important to you to have a lot of candid photos of your guests? If you invited a lot of people and you do want documentation of them, you may want a second shooter to ensure you get as many photos of your guests as possible. But if your budget doesn’t allow a second shooter or you’re having a smaller wedding, don’t fret. A second shooter isn’t necessary!

What are some of your favorite Colorado wedding venues?

Colorado has an abundance of exceptional wedding venues, it’s so difficult to choose! A few of my favorites are:
