A Downtown Denver Engagement Session | Colorado Wedding Photographer

H + A had a VISION for their engagement session and it was such a pleasure to watch it come to life in this downtown Denver shoot.

I love photographing engagement sessions. It’s so fun to see all the different ways couples love on one another. I’m a big proponent of engagement shoots not just for a photo or two for save the dates, but because this is such an exciting time for a couple and I think it should be documented! And the best way to showcase who a couple is in this season is to document a couple doing something thing enjoy doing together: whether that be a picnic or a hike or having fun in an arcade. The last one is what H + A did and I think it captured the essence of these two petty darn well if I do say so myself.

We started the session with a quick drink of liquid courage and then we wandered around the RiNo Arts District being goofs. As the sun set, we made our way to the 1UP Arcade Bar in LoDo for some fun and games. This final stop was so refreshing and such a unique take on an engagement session. I loved being a part of it!
